I have been painting for as long as I can remember, but I first really took an interest in high school thanks to a local woman who taught a small oil painting class in her home. There were probably only 6 of us at the most and this was my first experience working with a practicing artist without grades being tied to my work and it really helped me explore. I took a bit of a hiatus during college from painting the way I truly enjoy, but in recent years I have been finding my painting style again.
